All the arrangements were made for the Third Phase of Gram Panchayat Elections Polling, that to be held Today (i.e., 31st July) for total 241 Panchayats at 16 mandals in Amalapuram division in the district. These elections are also conducting for some of the mandals in Rampachodavaram division, because those areas elections were postponed due to rains. The polling will be held from 7AM to 1PM and counting would be taken up at 2PM for the ward member posts first and then the sarpanch posts and results declared on the same day. The district authorities have provided tight security for these elections. Here the details of the divisions clearly;
