Orders were passed by UGC that JNTU College of Engineering, Kakinada is now declared as Autonomous University. With this recognition, university is eligible for Technical Education Quality Improvement program. In addition, World Bank Project will sanction university with Rs.12 Crores funds in the next three years. These funds will be utilized to perk up research facilities in Post Graduation education, Stipends to students, conducting training programs for Professors and other staff in and around the world.
