The newly appointed Joint Collector, Mr. Ahmed Babu has been appointed as Special Officer for Kakinada Municipal Corporation Office. He took charge as special officer here n Wednesday. Incharge Commissioner Satya Kumari, SE Krishna Rao, MHO Dr.Ratna Uma and other department officers gave warm welcome to The Special officer. Speaking to the media persons after taking charge, Mr.Babu said that he would focus on Sanitation, collection of taxes, drinking water supply. He also warned that stringent actions would be taken against the officials who neglect the complaints received in Grievance cell program. He later reviewed with Town planning, Sanitation and Revenue officials. He visited various departments in corporation office and suggested officers to increase work progress in call center. On noticing dust on files in engineering department, he got annoyed and warned that firstly, office must be kept clean and then City. CP Rambabu, ACP Satyanarayana, Manager Satyanarayana, RO Bhushanam and other department officials were present.
