International Literacy Day was observed by Ideal Degree College National Service Scheme (NSS) team here on Thursday at Kakinada. College Principal, Mr. A.Prabhakar Rao and Chief Guest & College Correspondent Smt. P.Chiranjeevini Kumari presided over this program. Speaking on this, Smt. P.Chiranjeevini Kumari stated that Government is implementing many programs to eradicate illiteracy but still there is a huge number of child labor in the country, so the youth should take part in these type of programs to reduce illiteracy, she added. Later, she appreciated all the NSS team members. NSS officer Mr. A.Satyaswaroop, Lecturers Mr. G.V.K.Varma, Mr. J.Sastry, Mr. P.Pedasatyam, Ch.Padmavathi, Mr. K.Ramachandra Reddy and students who participated in the program.
