The 3-day Andhra University Sports Competitions was commenced here on Monday in Kakinada Ideal Degree College. Andhra University Physical Educational Director, Mr. M.Syam Babu participated as chief guest in this program and commenced the program. Speaking on this, he stated that sports helps in developing students mentally and also builds competitive spirit among them. In this 3-day college level competitions, students will be participating in various sports competitions. Ideal College Correspondent, Smt. Chiranjeevini Kumari stated that management of ideal college are working hard to encourage students in sports. Later, JNTU Registrar Mr. V.Ravindra hoisted national flag. Gadimoga Reliance Industries General Manager (HR) G.Naagi Reddy hoisted Andhra University sports flags. In this program, College President NSR Sastry, Principal D.Pandu Ranga Raju, Prasad Reddy and others were present. Ideal College Physical Education Trainer Varma, Y.Tatabbai will coordinate in this tournament. These competitions will be concluded here on Tuesday.
