Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was fondly remembered on his 66th death anniversary, here on Thursday. According to this, a program is being arranged at Kakinada Gandhi Bhavan for this occasion. The Additional Joint Collector Mr. D.Markhandeyulu has presided over this program as a chief guest. Firstly, he had offered garlands to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and paid rich tributes. Speaking on this, he has called upon the kindness of Bapuji on this occasion. Later, the organisers have conducted the essay writing, elocution, musical competitions for students on Gandhi's life history. Gandhi Bhavan President Mr. Dantu Surya Rao, Secretary Mr. V.V.N.Sarma, Members Mr. Alluri Surendra, Mr. Chandra Shekar, Mr. Satyanarayana, Mr. Prasad and others were participated in this program.
