A father and son who were supplying drugs were caught by III-town police station here on Thursday evening. DSP Mr. Balla Lakshmi Narayana, CI Mr. G.Deva Kumar said this to news line. Mathena Bheema Raju of Turangi area used to purchase ‘Morphine Derivative Bonorwin’ highly addictive injection from Shaaminagar of Gudiwada, Rangareddy District and supplies to Kakinada. However, police received information that Bheema Raju and his son Satyanarayana Raju supplied this drug for high price. III-town SI Mr. DS Chaitanya Krishna, Constables Chinna, Satti Babu, Suresh and others arrested the culprits at Balaji Cheruvu Center on Thursday evening. They possessed 10 boxes with 10 vials, each of which it consisted 2ml of drug. Police recognized that Eswar, medical distributor of Gudiwada used to supply this medicine to them. They had sold each injection for Rs.80/- which were Rs.16/- each. Bheemaraju was already caught in the case of drug supply during year 2007 by III-town police and by Indrapalem police in the year 2009. Few young people who are addicted to this injection were also taken into custody.
