"The Hindu" newspaper conducted "The Hindu Education plus Career Counseling-2011" program here on Friday at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada. The counseling program was conducted for engineering aspirants to create awareness and guidance on engineering studies. Several students and their parents attended this program.  According to this, JNTU-K Vice Chancellor, Mr. Allam Apparao presided over the program as a chief guest. Speaking on this, he suggested all the students to go with their interest on studies and said that parents should not take pressure on students about their studies. Students should select their courses with not only the aim to get a job but also to get a technical & scientifical knowledge in relevant branch of engineering studies, he added. Later, V.S.Lakshmi Engineering college Principal Mr. Sri Ramarao, Ideal Institute of Science & Technology Principal Mr. Rammurthy, JNTU-K principal Dr. E.V.Prasad, Vadalarevu B.V.C Engineering College Principal Mr. Prasad, Aditya Pharmacy College Principal Mr. Ramesh, JNTU-K advisor Mr. Rama krishna and other Educationalists answered for the parents questions about students career. The Hindu News Paper Visakhapatnam Regional General Manager Mr. Suresh, Mr. Subbarao, Mr. Chandra Shekar, Mr. Vignan Ramji, Mr. Sumith and other officials presided in the counseling.
