The North Zone Under-25 Cricket Competitions, which are organised by the District Cricket Association were concluded here on Sunday, at Rangaraya Medical College Sports Grounds in Kakinada. Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakha & East Godavari districts teams were participated in these ten days competitions. East Godavari team won Konda Krishnamraju, Gandhiraju trophies in these competitions by winning 10 points. The last match was conducted between Visakha & East Godavari teams on Sunday. Nearly after 28years, our district team won these trophies and created a new history in North Zone competitions, sources said. Rangaraya Vice Principal Dr. Raghavendra Rao has presented these trophies to EG team. District Cricket Association President Mr. K.T.Mathews, North Zone Cricket Association Secretary Mr. N.Prabhakar Rao, Joint Secretaries Mr. Bapiraju, Mr. T.Harish, Mr. Satyanarayana, Coach Mr. Ravi Kumar, Rangaraya PD Mr. Sparjan Raju, Selection Committee Chairmans Mr. M.N.Ravi Kumar and others participated in the award presentation program.
