East Godavari district got secured state wide 8th rank in Intermediate Second Year examination results, which have been released by State Inter Board, here on Friday. According to the results, the district achieved 60% pass percentage. A total 23,848 students were qualified in the examination out of 39,814 students from the district. However, the pass percentage of the district has been increased by 3% when compared to previous year stats. Regular students pass percentage is noted as 67% and the private students pass percentage noted as 30.63% in the district. This year, government colleges are little bit high in percentage than aided colleges in the district.
