JNTU-K Vice-Chancellor, Dr. G.Tulasi Ramdas announced the results of Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET-2012) here on Saturday. As many as 29,391 students out of the 32,937 who appeared have qualified in ECET-2012 conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Unviersity, Kakianda (JNTU-K). According to the results, Girls registered a success percentage of 90.65 which is higher than that of the boys 88.82 percentage. The students of North Coastal districts secured top ranks in different categories in this examination. However, the pass percentage is less than last year's percentage. A total of 6,777 girls out of the 7476 appeared have qualified whereas 22,614 boys out of the 25,641 appeared have qualified in ECET-2012. Speaking on this, Dr. G.Tulasi Ramdas stated that students can check their results on website like www.apecet.org or JNTU-K official website. He said that students can also download their rank cards online. He also suggested students to take the smart copy at the time of counseling, if in case, they could not get their rank cards.
