District Athletics Association is going to conduct Athletics Competitions for both under-14 and under-16 Boys & Girls categories in the district. According to this, Association Secretary Mr. Chandrakanth had released a press note here on Wednesday in Kakinada. He said, the competitions will be held at Rajahmundry Arts College on 11th of August and also at Amalapuram Balayogi Stadium on 29th of September. He noticed that players under-14 should be born after 30-10-1998. For these players, 800 Run, Long Jump and Shot Put competitions will be conducted. Under-16 players should be born after 30-10-1996 and for those, 100m, 400m & 1500m run, Long Jump and Shot Put competitions will be conducted, he added. He said, these competitions will also conducted soon in Kakinada. Players selected in these competitions are going to participate in State level competitions, which are to be conducted at Vijayawada on September month that he added.
