Sick Constable's Wife accused sexual harassment by District SP's Office Staff Clerk here on Kakinada. According to the sources, Kunjam Satyavathi (40), wife of Kunjam Ramakrishna Dora, worked as a Constable in Samalkot police station previously, but now he became medically unifit for the job after he sustained severe injuries in an accident held in the last year. According to this, his wife Satyavathi has applied to the SP to provide a job on compassionate grounds. But corruption in the district police office came to the fore by this issue. She lodged a complaint against a clerk in the office. According to her complaint, she was being sexually harassed by the office clerk Anil Johnson. The clerk asked for a bribe of Rs.3000/- and also sexual gratification, she stated in her complaint. Responding to the issue, SP Mr. Trivikram Varma told that an inquiry has been ordered and directed the Kakinada Divisional Superintendent of Police, B. Sai Sri to probe into the matter and submit a report. He also said that her job file was being processed. Speaking on this, Police Officials Welfare Association President, Mr. Balarama Murthy, said that efforts would be made to render justice to Mrs. Satyavathi.
