A man died in a road mishap, which occurred on Friday midnight here at main road, Kakinada. According to the statement given by III-Town SI, Mr. D.S. Chaitanya Krishna, Victim Samsaani Veerraju (50) was resident of Indira Colony of Jagannaickpur. Veeraraju was a banana vendor, who sold bananas on a pushcart daily. On Friday night, he was returning home and an auto-rickshaw suddenly collided with his cart near Best and Co at Main road. Veerraju was severely injured in this accident. Local people took him to Kakinada Government General Hospital. However, he could not survive for long time and was dead on Saturday night. III-Town police filed a case under investigation.
