Police had declared the amount of Rs.2,92,50,000 possessed from realtors as black money here on Monday. Police has arrested four representatives of Sagar Praja Realtors Company and possessed this amount from a Swift Car at Kondayyapalem Railway Gate on 2nd of this month. During police interrogation, the representatives said that it was the amount taken from a Doctor during sale of a land. When police investigated the Doctor, he said that he just gave Rs.90,00,000/- on purchasing land. later during the investigation, police felt that Dr.KV Ramarao from Dubai had given this amount through Dr.Murthy in Kakinada. However, no perfect proofs were obtained and therefore, police registered case under 102 Section. DSP Lakshmi Narayana stated that this amount was submitted to Income Tax Officers. Income Tax Officers K.Siva Prasad, Inspectors Radha Krishna, Bhavanarayana, Ramakrishna Rao, Vijay Kumar came to SP office and took the amount from police. However, IT Department Officers had focused on Sagar Praja Realtors Company. According to some internal sources, relatives of Former Chief Minister, Lawyers and other familiar people are involved in this. Additional Income Tax Department is also planning to make raids on Real Estate offices and residences across the district.
