'Amma Hastham' scheme is launched in Kakinada Urban, here on Wednesday. According to this, RDO Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru has launched the scheme and distributed the nine essential goods to the white card holders here, at Mc Laurin school in Kakinada. Speaking on this, he stated that the Government has introduced this scheme to help poor people from prices hike on general goods. He asked the public to utilise this scheme properly. Around 70,700 members of white card holders from 116 ration shops are going to be benefited with this scheme in Kakinada Urban, he added. Incharge Tahsildar Mr. Sarath Kumar, ASO Mr. Krishna Prasad, MSO's Mr. I. P. Setti, Mr. Visweswara Rao, Revenue Inspectors Mr. Srinivas, Mr. Veerababu and others participated in the program.
