The district authorities were getting ready to distribute 85,906 new Ration Cards under the III-phase of Rachabanda program in the district from 11th of this month. Sources said, a total 15 lakhs of white ration cards were distributed till and now the authorities preparing to distribute the remaining cards under this Rachabanda program. Ration goods will be supplied from December month to these new ration card holders. The rachabanda program will be conducted only for the mandals, municipalities & corporations in the district on this III-phase. So that the revenue staff will distribute the cards for villagers. The list of these new ration cards will be available at Tahsildar offices in the district. These new card holders can take the ration cards by paying Rs.5/- for coupons from December 2013 to June 2014. Along with the rice, all the 9 essential 'Amma hastham' goods will be supplied to these new card holders, sources said.
