Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad conducted a conference with medical officer, yesterday in collectorate court hall. She said that severe action will be taken if any doctor or nurse is found to live in place other than their work place. Action will be taken upon, if anyone is found to do private practice, she added. She ordered them to work with a co-ordination of Anganwadi's and Asha workers. Asha workers should compulsory attend the meetings that are conducted by mother and child welfare department, she added. She ordered that 104 services should be made available for village people and Anganwadis's, Asha workers are asked to submit their schedule for the visit of villages. She made it clear that they should be available, when 104 reaches the villages as per schedule. She informed that price has been set for the purchase of required and essential equipment for the hospitals, with the funds given by national village health mission and also said that they can purchase equipment wherever they like too, as per this price list. You can also spend for required repair works, she added. She also said that new funds can be received, if  present funds allocated by NRHM are spent completely. She ordered them to purchase essential medicines immediatelty with this fund. She ordered that ANM's salaries should be paid on 2nd of every month. AJC Mr. B.
