State Government's new scheme 'Amma Hastham' was launched in the District, here on Tuesday for supplying specified quantities of nine essential commodities in a packet just for Rs. 185 to white card household. Minister for Co-operation Mr. Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy and Stamps & Registrations Minister Mr. Thota Narasimham started this scheme from Kakinada Rural here in a program arranged at Kakinada Public School grounds. The program was held under the chairmanship of Kakinada Rural MLA Mr. Kannababu. Speaking on this, Mr. Thota Narasimham has stated that the public welfare is the main ambition of Congress Government. Around 44.42 Lakh families are going to be benefited by Amma Hastham scheme, he added. Later, Mr. Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy has stated that the State Government introduced this scheme to help poor families from the price hikes issue according to the globalization.
