The movie "Yogi" is an action oriented movie starring Prabhas and Nayantara as lead pair. Yogi is remake version of Kannada movie Jogi. The movie is based on mother sentiment. Prabhas lives in a village and his parents urge him to go to the city and earn some money. He works in a tea stall and after earning good money buys gold bangles for his mother. In the city, Kota Srinivas Rao and Pradeep Rawat are bitter rivals. In a regular rival fight, Prabhas accidentally gets involved and becomes the part of the fight, where he gets humiliated by Pradeep Rawat, who stamps the bangles he bought for his mother. In a fit of anger, Prabhas kills him in broad day light. As a result, Prabhas becomes the biggest goon of the city and controls the crime by other goons. His mother comes in search of him and how Nayantara, a journalist who is bent upon to save him from the police succeeds is the crux of the movie. The movie is under the banner of Eshwari Films Pvt.
