The movie Simhaputrudu is a Telugu flick. It is a Telugu dubbing version of the Tamil movie with the title Venghai. It is a action based drama movie. The story of the movie is about the young man named Selvam, who is a loyal Son and who looks up to his father 'Veera Pandi' as his role model. Rajalingam a local MLA whose intentions are to earn money and enjoy with the power and when Veera Pandi tries to correct him, he doesn't listen to him. In the meanwhile Selvam goes to Trichy and falls in love with Radhika. Rajalingam tries to eliminate Selvam to dominate Veera pandi but fails. Finally what does Selvam do to save his father and himself is to be seen in the movie. Lead pair in the movie is Dhanush and Tamanna Bhatia.
