Warangal, Aug 4th: A 20 year old degree completed girl was attacked by a jilted lover, who slit her hand with a sharp razor. The incident took place at Narsempeta town in the district on Tuesday afternoon. The victim intimated about the attack to her parents who were living in Ammenabad village in Chennaraopet mandal. Enraged at the assault on the girl, the brothers and other relatives of the victim came to Narsamper town and thrashed the accused, A. Nagaraju, who was the classmate to the girl in B.Com at a private college in the town.
It was learnt that the boy was harassing the girl from last 3 years to accept his love. The accused has also inflicted blade injuries all over his body at different times in order to blackmail her emotionally. The victim parents had beaten up the accused before handling him over to the police. The Narsampet sub inspector, Mr. P. Narasimha Rao, Suspect the accused as psycho lover going by the self-inflicted injuries all over his body. The girl was treated at a private hospital in her native village. The police registered a case and started inquiry into the attack.
