Young entrepreneurs at TEDx event

Internationally known TEDx conducted daylong sessions in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) and TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design), at the Rangaraya Medical College auditorium this Saturday. The daylong session was conducted with a series of short talks on technical issues, breathtaking sharing of ideas and success stories of young entrepreneurs. Mr. Pulkit Gaur, the founder of Gridbots Technologies, shared his dreams to make better use of robotic s artificial intelligence to provide equipment like washing machines and vacuum cleaners that function automatically. Hearing on this idea, the audience had in a pleasant surprise. Mr. Gaur explained in detail how he could provide the automated home appliances at a cheaper price. Social entrepreneur Rashmi Dhariwal and Manik Thapar spoke at length on Waste Management. Mr. D.Ramakrishna of Efftronics discussed the need for valuing the customers. The secret behind the success of Germany, a small country whose exports are much higher than the US is nothing but valuing the customers, he added.  Anti-corruption advocate Mr. Vijay Anand called upon the youngsters not to pay bribes and fight against corruption as corruption is forcing the country to lag behind in development. At the end of every session, students of engineering, medicine and management asked several queries on the hard work put on by the successful entrepreneurs. Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-K Prof. Allam Appa Rao stressed the need for making better use of technology to improve the living standards. Director of the Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) D. John Uday Kumar, Chairman of the Sankurathri Foundation Chandrasekhar Sankurathri, Coordinator of the TEDxJNTU-K Rajesh Kommireddi and others were present.
