District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad stated that everyone should see that vaccination are given to their pets regularly for resistance towards diseases. She had participated in World Zoonosis Day-2012 which has been celebrated on 6th of July. Marking the day, Anti Rabies Vaccine(ARV) were provided to all Dogs for free by Animal Husbandry Organisation at Veterinary Hospital premises in Ramaraopeta, Kakinada. Municipal Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar said, these vaccines are being very useful in not affecting from any diseases from their pet dogs. Incharge K Sridhar said, in this programme Vaccination was done to nearly 200 pet Dogs. Everyday free medical treatment is being provided for Pets and Animals, he added. Municipal Health Officer Ratna Uma also participated in this programme.
