Yesterday on the occasion of World Population Day a rally was conducted under the organisation of Medical & Health department. AJC Mr Rama Rao started Health staff rally from DM&HO office by waving a flag. This rally continued from Shanthi Bhavan center to Collector Office. Later Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad organised a meeting at Goutami conference hall in Collector office. In this meeting AJC reffered to everyone and said responsibility should be taken to decrease population. Especially Medical & Health departments should work self motivatedly, he added. Aasa and Anganwadi workers should also work hard to control , he added. AJC B. Rama Rao, DM&HO Dr. D. Vijay Kumar and District Immunisation Officer Dr. B. Murali Krishna distributed prizes to the Winners in various categories as a part of World Population Day celebrations. They released the brocher of newly started order "Amma Kongu".
