World Music Day-2013 was grandly celebrated by various schools, colleges & organizations at the city, here on Friday ie., 21st June 2013. On this occasion, VS Lakshmi Degree College management conducted Music competitions for their students. Gandhi Nagar Municipal High School, SSRK Municipal Corporation High School, Nataratna Kalamandir and some other organisations felicitated famous musicians from the city, on the day. Speaking on this, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Ravi Kumar has said, 'Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything'.
