World Environment Day-2012 was observed here on Tuesday by Government, Private & Voluntary organizations in Kakinada. Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board and State Environmental Protection Committee jointly organized these celebrations. They conducted an Awareness Rally from Kulai Cheruvu center to Bhanugudi center regarding World Environment Day. The rally has been commenced by DSP Sai Sri. Other than the Government, various other Private & Voluntary organizations have also observed the day. V.S.Lakshmi College, Aditya Educational Institutions, PR Government College and other institutions conducted various competitions for students and presented awards for the winners. Yuvasakthi Youth welfare and other organizations also celebrated this day.
