World Earth Day 2013 was celebrated here on Monday. According to this, Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV) District Unit and Walkers Club Kakinada jointly conducted an awareness rally on this occasion. Speaking on this, AP Pollution Control Board Kakinada Unit Engineer Mr. K. Pramodh Kumar as the Chief Guest, stated that every individual is responsible to protect our Mother Earth. He flagged off the rally from Gandhi nagar Municipal Park. The rally went towards the Town Railway station and finally reached the park. Around 150 members participated in this rally. JVV District Secretary Mr. K. M. M. R. Prasad, UTF Main Secretary Mr. Prabhakara Varma, JVV Main Secretary Mr. Kesari Srinivasa Rao, UPSN Manager Mr. Subrahmanyam, Mr. Ramesh, Mr. Satyanarayana REddy, Walkers Club members and others participated in the program.
