District Administrative Authority, in association with AIDS Control Society, have conducted the World HIV/ AIDS Day here on 1st of December 2012, Saturday in the district. Firstly, they have arranged a lunch program for AIDS affected children at Collector's Camp Office in Kakinada. Later, Collector has flagged off to the rally conducted by the school children. Speaking on this, Collector Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad, has stated that 'we protect the AIDS effected people & the children, and also we do our best for the control of the disease in the district'. Joint Collector Mr. A.Babu, Assistant Joint Collector Mr. B.Ramarao, Assistant Collector Swetha Mahanti, DRO Mr. B.Yadagiri, Aids Control Society Officer Dr. Pavan Kumar, District Medical & Health Officer Padmavathi, RMC College Principal Dr. Mahalakshmi and others participated in the program.
