The World AIDS Day, 2011 was observed Yesterday under the theme “Universal Access and Human Rights” in various parts of the country. According to this, East Godavari District Collector Mr. M.Ravi Chandra called upon the public to help the HIV/ AIDS effected people. Commencing the day, So many programs have been conducted at District Collector’s Bungalow here on Thursday in Kakinada. Firstly, Collector & other staff participated in the feast conducted for the AIDS effected children. Later, the officials along with Mr. Ravi chandra have donated their blood at Government General Hospital. Mr. M.Ravi Chandra remembered that District AIDS Control Society is taking care about 93 Aids effected children in the district & working towards the control of the disease.
