Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada organized a "Orientation Program for Pharmacy Research Scholars & Research Guides". Director of the evaluation, Dr. Prabhakar Rao presided over this workshop. Speaking on this, Chief Guest Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K, Mr. Allam Apparao stated that the outcome of Ph.D. programs would be helpful to society at large extent. He announced that JNTU-K would offer Ph.D in Pharma field very soon. He also felt that there was a lot of scope for research in the pharma field. He also stated that University would also allow researches in Pharma field according to UGC. Later, Academic Advisor for Pharmacy, Mr. S.U.M. Prasad stated that various changes were taking place in the human life. He noticed that according to science, life span of the man is going to expand up to 100 years. JNTU-K Rector, Mr. Satya Prasad, Registrar Mr. Ravindra, Directors Smt. Santhi Prabha, Mr. Padma Raju, Mr. Vijay Kumar, Mr. Srinivas, Mr. Apparao and others were present.
