Kakinada, June 27th: A one day workshop on ‘Engineering Teaching Methodologies’ was organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU-K) on Saturday. Delivering the keynote at the inauguration function, Vice Chancellor, Prof Mr. Allam Apparao stressed the need for the overall development of the student. He also felt that this in turn develop the intelligence and thinking capacity of the students by providing them the insight to analyse issues.
VC said that teacher is the first student of the class and should always think of development on new ideals. He recalled the glory of a teacher and the teaching profession. The university directors, Prof. K. Satyaprasad, Prof. P. Udaya Bhaskar, Prof. K. Padma Raju, college engineering principal Dr. E.V. Prasad and Dr. M.V Bharata Lakshmi spoke.
