Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada conducted a one-day Workshop on Outcome Based Learning here on Monday at University executive committee hall. According to this, JNTU-K Vice Chancellor, Mr. Allam Apparao presided over the workshop as a chief guest. Speaking on this, Mr. Allam Apparao announced that the University is going to introduce an Academic Staff College (ASC), in order to keep its Principals, Head of the departments and Lecturers up-to-date. He stated that by this ASC few academic changes would take place in the university, especially in the syllabus. Mr. Allam Apparao said that the change in the syllabus is to introduce advanced technologies for students with updated information as per the present industries.  Academic Planning Director Mr. G.V.R.Prasad Raju said that total 30 selected Professors from eight districts would attend for this workshop to share their valuable thoughts on ASC. JNTU-K old student and Hong Kong Varsity Consulting Professor, Mr. N.Murali Mohan presided over the workshop. Later, Prof. Murali Mohan felicitated by Mr. Allam Apparao & other staff. In this workshop, JNTU-K Rector Mr. K.Satya Prasad, In-charge Registrar Mr. E.V.Prasad, D.E Mr. Prabhakar Rao and others were present.
