Building & Construction Workers were on strike in front of the Collectorate here on Tuesday with support of CITU. They demanded Government to solve their problems. According to this, Building & Construction Workers came from different places in the District and participated in the Strike. Firstly, they conducted rally from Zilla Parishad to Collectorate and then blocked the Collectorate area with their gathering. Speaking on this, District CITU Main Secretary, Mr. Duvva Seshu Babji grieved that the careless attitude of Government towards the workers was very disappointing. He stated that Government had failed to provide minimum facilities and identity cards to the workers. Mr. Seshu Babji has demanded the Government to provide Thirty Thousand rupees each to the families of the workers who lost their lives while they were on duty. Building & Construction Workers, Unions Leaders, Mr. Viswanadham, Mr. Bhaskar, Mr. Venkateswara Rao, Mr. G.Sattibabu, Mr. Veeraswamy and other workers participated.
