Kakinada, Mar 4th: On the eve of International Women’s Day, AP Non-Gazetted Officers Association of East Godavari is organizing two day womens’s sports meet in the district. East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi inaugurated the function here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion Collector appreciated the Association members for organizing such event to encourage the women in all means. He said that organizing such events would bring a lot of relief to the working women and housewives from their daily routine activities. He said that an aid of Rs 15,000 would be given to meet the expenses to organize the event and directed the ICDS project director, Ms. S. Vidyavathi to prepare action plan for establishing a women’s club on the lines of officer’s club in the district.
