In order to mark the International Women’s Day, Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (AP NGO’s) Association for women would be conducting District Level Women’s Sports Competitions on 4th and 5th of this month. Arrangements are being made to conduct these competitions at District Sports Authority Stadium at NFCL Road, Kakinada. Competitions like Throw Ball, Shuttle Badminton, Ring Tennis, Shot-put, Javelin Throw, Disc Throw, 100m Running Competitions, 400m Speed walk, Tug of war, Lemon spoon would be conducted. Singing competitions and Traditional dress competitions will also be conducted at AP NGO Home from morning 10:30am on 8th of March. District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra granted two days permission for women employees. Collector Mr. Ravi Chandra and SP Mr. Srinivas would begin the competitions at 10:30am on 4th March. Chairperson of NGO Association of Women Y.Jaya Lakshmi, Secretary Madhavi and Treasurer Y.Padma Meenakshi will coordinate the arrangements of these competitions. Speaking on this, Chairperson Jaya Lakshmi called upon all the Women employees from Office Subordinate Cadre to Gazetted officer Cadre to take part in these competitions. Prizes would be presented to the winners of these competitions on 8th evening at NGO home, she added.
