In association with District NGO Association Women Department, Women Employees Sports competitions were commenced here on Monday. In order to mark International Women's Day on 8th March, these competitions are being commenced. District Collector, Neethu Kumari Prasad participated as chief guest in this program. Speaking on this, she stated that to overcome stress at home and work, sports will help to rejuvenate women, she added. Women are no more less than men in every field, she added. She also suggested employees to participate in all categories of sports. Another chief guest Commercial Tax Department Deputy Commissioner Pousumi Basu also participated in this program. District Employees Association Joint Action Committee Chairman Achanta Rama Rayudu appealed District Collector to look into problems faced by women employees. NGO Women's Association President, T.Madhavi presided over this program.
