Telecom general manager G.Raghavendra Rao said that the wireless internet services are made available in the district. He said that on the occasion of 9th anniversary celebrations of B.S.N.L many programmes will be conducted at Rajahmundry .In the meeting held at Sanchar Bhavan he said about the development programs of the Government Telecom Society which were done in these 8 years.
Development for the broad band and land line are also going on. By establishing 16 more towers in the Kakinada city and by starting a call center, manager said that they are going to solve the problems for the broad band customers. He said that all the customers are invited to share their problems in the broad band usage by calling to the number 12678.
In the meeting he said that nearly 6 crore bills are left unpaid .So with little monthly charges wire less internet services are provided both in villages and cities. He said CDMA prepaid vill phones will be made available and these phones can be used with recharge cards without any bill. e-Seva countres will be made available for bill payments. In this meeting D.G.M Manojkumar, I.T.S also participated.
