District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra conducted a meeting with City Traffic Advisory Committee with all the related officials, on development of roads to avoid the heavy traffic in the city here on Tuesday. He said that action needs to be taken on the development of roads, as Kakinada is industrially developing". He stated that electric streetlights & parking places must be provided in all the areas when roads are developed. Firstly, Committee decided to develop the area in the Main Road, which is very commercial & main area in Kakinada, and later on expand four lines road from Bhanugudi Junction to Atchampeta Junction. According to this, Mr. Ravi Chandra called upon the officials to take an immediate action about the illegal occupations at Main Road. He ordered them to move the telephones lines without causing inconvenience to the public.
