Tirumala, Sep 22nd: Millions of devotees all over the world can witness the colorful Sri Vari Brahmotsavams festival as Sify.Com and 16frames.com have started web casting the proceedings. Talking to media persons on Sept 22, TTDs Electronic Data Processing (EDP) Manager Bhaskar said the two Portals were web casting the daily processions of the Lord during the festival which began yesterday.

As per the bids called by the TTD last week to generate revenue to the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC), a devotional television channel belonging to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), only two portals, Clarion and a Delhi-based web casting company had purchased the bids. In view of poor response from the portals to participate in the auction for the web cast of Sri Vari Brahmotsavams, the TTD had given the web cast right to Sify and 16 frames, which approached TTD to webcast the event.
