Kakinada, June 7th: The East Godavari district administration has decided to give show cause notices to the concerned officials of Indiramma housing project of Addateegala, Kothapeta, Rampachodavaram, Gollaprolu, Y. Ramavaram, Kirlampudi and Gangavaram mandals in East Godavari district for their failures in achieving the targets assigned to them in regard to project. The administration has initiated several measures for the improvement of the housing project in the district.
The officials who fail to achieve the targets will be given a week time to improve their overall performance in the housing activity in their respective mandals. Even if the performance does not improve after the grace period, disciplinary action will be taken on the officials. As a part of this program executive and divisional engineers will be monitoring the overall progress of the housing activity at regular intervals. The details of the village revenue officers were also sought by the administration to know the backlogs in the payments to beneficiaries.
