Huge number of candidates attended for the entrance examination of Village Revenue Officer (VRO), Village Revenue Assistant (VRA) conducted here on Sunday. This exam was conducted peacefully in total 164 centers in District. Total 61,082 candidates applied for the post of VRO but only 46,082 attended, ie., only 75.57% attended for the examination. At the same time, total 11,051 applied for the post of VRA and 8,345 attended for the exam, i.e., 75.51% attended for the examination. For total 35 VRO posts, exam was held from 10am to 12pm and for 422 VRA posts, exam was held in afternoon session from 3pm to 5pm. The VRO Question papers were sent to various centers from District Treasury Department on Saturday night and VRA question papers were sent during Sunday morning. Joint Collector, Mr. Ahmed Babu examined the examination centers in Amalapuram region. Under the joint coordination of District Revenue Officers, Police exam was held peacefully. Results will be announced on 12th March, 2012 and key will released on 25th February.
