Kakinada, Nov 25th: A review meeting regarding the relief package for fisher flock by Reliance industries at Pedagadimoga in Tallarevu mandal in East Godavari District was held at District collectorate on Tuesday. Review was conducted comprising of company delegates including M.P Harsha Kumar, MLA Dommatti Venkateswara Rao and JC Kona Sasidhar along with villagers.
In the review villagers alleged that they became shelter less due to the occupation of their lands by Reliance industries and they need relief packages rather than the development in the villages. They also said that the company has promised to give free gas connections, free current and employment to the unemployed youth which they failed to do.
M.P Harsh Kumar speaking on the occasion said that they will give a notice to the company regarding the relief package, and order them to give reply regarding the petition with in a week. MP also suggested for the allotment of various contract works to the villagers rather than giving them to outsiders.
