Kakinada, Mar 5th: For the fore coming Parliament and Assembly elections, election authorities are making all arrangements for the effective implementation of election code in the district. In this concern a video conference was organized by Chief election officer I.V Subba Rao for all the district offices including the revenue, police and others from Hyderabad. District collector and joint collector also participated. In this conference brief discussion took place on the arrangement to be done for holding the elections effectively in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Subba Rao ordered the concerned officers to send primary report on all the arrangement and details to him for further review. He also ordered the officers to follow the election code strictly and asked to take severe action on those political representatives who turn to violate the rules. He asked to appoint addition police forces on the areas which will turn to bring disturbances during the time of elections. In reply to this district collector Gopala Krishna Dwevedi revealed that the authorities has already identified few places in the district which cause disturbance and making all arrangements to avoid the same.
