Kakinada, Mar 30th: To review over the arrangements of the polls that are scheduled to be held in next month, Chief Election Officer, Mr. I.V Subba Rao has organized a video conference from Hyderabad on Monday. East Godavari District collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi and other district election officers attended the conference. Various issues relating to nominations, preparation of voter list, identification of sensitive areas and many others were discussed.
As the nomination process for the first phase of election was concluded, CEO asked the officers to upload the complete information in CD and send the same to him by Tuesday evening. Speaking on the occasion collector said that they have sent a request for the change of 34 polling centers in the district and of which 22 were approved. He asked the CEO to approve the remaining 12 polling centers. He promised to send the reports of existing polling station and details of identified sensitive areas within few days. DRO, M.
