The Anti Corruption People’s forum, Kakinada in association with Subhaniketan School conducted a ‘Victory March’ from Raja tank to TTD Kalyana Mandapam to celebrate the success of ‘Jan’LokPal Bill here on Saturday. Anna Hazare, a 73-year-old Gandhian achieved this bill with almost 98 hours of fasting in the burning Sun. People all over the country celebrated this success after the government agreed to their demand of including civil society in the committee to redraft the Lokpal Bill. A citizen-developed bill called “Jan” LokPal will create an independent body, selected by judges, citizens and constitutional authorities, with enough power to investigate and punish all politicians who supported corruption. According to this, The Anti Corruption People’s forum Kakinada leaders Mr. Y.D.Ramarao, Mr. Chikkala.Ramachandra Rao, Dr. Aaluri Vijaya Lakshmi, Mr. Ganga Suryanarayana, Mr. Jyothula Sitarama Murthy, Mr. Chollangi Venu Gopal, Mr. A.Krishna Kumari participated in the success rally. Later, speaking with media persons, some of the leaders termed the Central government's announcement on the Jan LokPal Bill as a "victory of people" of the country. A part from the leaders, citizens from all sections of the society including educationists, intelligentsia, students and others participated in the Victory March and expressed their happiness and support to Anna Hazare.
