The 10th anniversary of Kakinada Vasavi Vanitha Club was grandly celebrated, here on Friday, at Suryakala mandir in Kakinada. According to this, the Treasurer of Vasavi Club International Smt. Nalam Andal has presided over the program as a chief guest. She has started the celebrations by lighting the lamp (jyothiprajwalana), here. Speaking on this, she has stated that 'Women should be first in all aspects, then only the country will develop'. She said the aim of the club is to help the Old aged women and poor girl students in the district. The program was held under the chairmanship of Vanita Club President Mrs. Dara Baby. Later, they have conducted Cooking and Decoration competitions for women. A total 60 members were participated in these competitions. Around 400 Club members from Kakinada, Yanam, Samalkot, Pedhapuram, Tuni and other areas were attended the program.
