Kakinada, Jan 15th: The process of filing the nominations for teacher member of the Legislative Council, MLC for the both East and West Godavari districts began on Thursday. The first nomination was filed by the Ch. Subhash Chandra Bose on Thursday. Along with teachers and other UTF members, a huge rally was organized by Mr. Bose from Eluru. He reached UTF office and from there to District collectorate. There he submitted three copies of nomination certificates to the East Godavari District Collector, Gopala Krishna Dwivedi.
Under the chairmanship of state UTF president, I. Venkateswara Rao, a meeting was organized at collectorate by UTF. Addressing the meeting, UTF chief correspondent wished for the Bose winning the elections. Mr. Bose also presided over the meeting. He assured the teachers to provide with better benefits after winning in the polls. UTF members K.S.S Prasad, Raju, Ramana Murthy, East and West Godavari chief correspondents K. Sathibabu, S. Srikanth, Prabhakar Varma and others participated.
