Kakinada, May 13th: To cater to the changing needs of the deep water sea port, Kakinada Sea Ports Limited (KSPL) has taken up the construction of 5th berth. The 600 meter berth will be the largest among the existing berths. KSPL also holds the credit of handling fertilizers in the previous year for the urgent needs of the farmers to tune of 2.20 lakh mts. According to the KSPL chief executive officer, Mr Y.S Prasad the company is targeting to 10 lakh mts of cargo handling this year.
