District Collector, Mr. M.Ravi Chandra ordered District Medical and Health Officers to close the Hospitals, Clinics, Laboratories in district which are unregistered. Collector participated in meeting with PNDT (Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques) Act members and offers here at DWAMA Hall here on Tuesday. He addressed that Scanning centers which are under renewal and date has completed must be closed. Collector ordered to close scanning centers which did not extend their date even after receiving orders from Medical department. List of those scanning centers which Collector ordered to seize were Aruna Hospital of Dr. VN Santa Rao in Rajahmundry, Vagbata Hospital of Dr. N. Ravi Kiran and Vijaya Lakshmi Nursing home of Dr.V.Satyanarayana in Malkipuram, Eswari Nursing Home of Dr. R.Vishnu Kumari of Sitanagaram Mandal. He also ordered to issue Forum-B after renewing with payment of Rs.20,000/- for Sambasiva Hospital of Eleswaram. He asked to follow the same instructions for Poly Clinic of Gandhinagar, Kakinada. In this program, Additional Joint Collector, Mr. B.Ramarao, Members Yendumuri Laxmi, Yalla Padmalatha, KVS Suryanarayana, Medical and Health Department PH officers were present.
